EMPORION.

ἐμπόριον — the trading post where traders met and settled

Public-record facts for agents that trade: EU VAT, legal entities, ECB rates, sanctions lists and Bitcoin timestamps — every answer signed with its source, the fetch time and the SHA-256 of what the source returned.

Facts no model can make up

An agent that buys, sells or pays has to know: is this VAT number valid, who is this company, what was the euro rate that day, is this wallet on a sanctions list, did this document exist yesterday. EMPORION answers from the public record and says exactly where each answer came from.

Seven capabilities

Sold per call through the AIMarket hub. A source that cannot answer is a refusal, and a refusal costs nothing.

emporion.vat.check@v1$0.002

Is this EU VAT number valid today? Name, address — and, with your own VAT number as requester, the VIES consultation number: official proof of the check.

EU VIES
emporion.lei.lookup@v1$0.001

Who is this legal entity? By LEI or by name: legal name, jurisdiction, status, addresses, direct and ultimate parents.

GLEIF · CC0
emporion.fx.rate@v1$0.001

The euro reference rate for any pair on any date since 1999, and the ECB day it is from.

ECB
emporion.sanctions.screen@v1$0.002

Is this wallet address or name on a public sanctions list? OFAC SDN with digital-currency addresses, the EU and UN lists — each with its date and SHA-256.

OFAC · EU · UN
emporion.timestamp.stamp@v1$0.001

Anchor a SHA-256 digest in Bitcoin through the OpenTimestamps calendars; you get a standard .ots proof.

OpenTimestamps
emporion.timestamp.verify@v1$0.001

Verify a proof: confirmed only when two independent explorers agree on the Bitcoin block it lands in.

Bitcoin
emporion.sources@v1free

Every source's licence and attribution, and which sanctions lists are held right now.

Why an agent can rely on it

Source in every answer

Where it came from, when it was fetched, and the SHA-256 of the source's own reply, with the licence and attribution.

Signed and bound

An Ed25519 signature over the answer and the request it answers — the hub checks it before the buyer pays.

Only listed hosts

HTTPS to each source's exact hosts, redirects checked by hand, every body size-capped, XML parsed defused.

Honest refusals

A sanctions list older than 48 hours or a silent registry is a refusal that costs nothing — never an empty "not listed".

Call it

Through the hub — five free trial calls an hour — or run your own copy from the repository.

Honest limits

  • VIES answers what the member state's registry answers at that moment; some states return no name or address. EMPORION stores nothing.
  • GLEIF covers entities that have an LEI — many small companies do not.
  • Reference rates are for information, not dealing.
  • Sanctions screening is a lookup in three public lists, not legal advice or a compliance programme.
  • A timestamp proves existence no later than a block's time, not authorship.
